In Mousesteps Weekly #212, we talk about the following topics:

We start with New Year's Eve, opting for Disney Springs instead of a park. We made reservations for lunch at the Boathouse restaurant, which is one of our favorite restaurants on property.

Next, we take a look around some of the construction, including The Edison and Paddlefish. Paddlefish is just a few weeks or so away from opening. It has a paddlewheel and smokestacks added now.

Characters in Flight will be undergoing a short refurb in January to give it more of a Disney Springs look. We don't know what that means yet, but will know soon!

The Planet Hollywood Observatory is also a few weeks or so from opening. It will keep some of its traditional favorites, but also add many new items. The new items include a Guy Fieri designed sandwich and burger menu.

We went to the Coca-Cola Store to have a drink and watch Starbright Holidays and see if we could watch any fireworks. We enjoyed a limited view of Illuminations at Epcot, and then Starbright Holidays. We noticed a new drink, "Beverly's Revenge" (the same Beverly as in Epcot), and share that and one of two new drink flights.

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts begins on January 13th, 2017! This new Festival will feature the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt, living statues, food and more.

Our last segment is a vintage one, Superstar Limo at Disney's California Adventure (now Disney California Adventure). It lasted only a year from 2001 - 2002, and we talk about the attraction and other ones that have had short shelf life.
