In Mousesteps Weekly #213, we talk about the following topics:

Jeff turned 50, and we spent the day as usual - beginning with breakfast at Boma and heading to the Magic Kingdom.

Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge may be our favorite breakfast buffet at Walt Disney World. Included with breakfast are carved meats; create-your-own omelet; asparagus and standard breakfast fare. We always make it a brunch by booking later in the morning.

Next, we head to the Magic Kingdom. Jeff had been wanting to get his hair cut, so we went to the Harmony Barber Shop, where he learned that Michal (Jeff's barber) was retiring in a week. We will miss him! We talk a little about the Harmony Barber Shop and Michal.

Next, we take in some attractions. Jeff rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and then we went on the Walt Disney World Railroad (which is undergoing a refurb now through March 3rd, 2016).

The last day of Christmas events at the Magic Kingdom had already passed, but the park was still fully decorated - and that included Cinderella Castle as it lit up in Christmas lights without a show (allowing guests to enjoy it lit at sunset/dusk).

Dinner was at Narcoossee's, which we haven't been to in a few years. This is a Walt Disney World Signature restaurant at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. We take a look at a chocolate display in the lobby that features characters from "Finding Nemo", then we pass the open kitchen into the dining room. We review our food and drinks, and watch Wishes from the dining room as it was too cold to go outside for it.
