In Mousesteps Weekly #215, we talk about the following topics:
We visited Disney's Animal Kingdom Park on a busy day, and check out a little of the Avatar construction. The purpose of our visit was to go to Yak & Yeti, which is our favorite restaurant to use our Landry's Reward card for. Jeff not only received his $25.00 birthday reward, but we also were given priority seating (we highly recommend the card, which costs $25.00). We share a look and review of our food.
Rivers of Light has not yet opened, but the seating area has been available for guests to relax on.
Next, we head to Disney Springs. Characters in Flight has a new balloon, without characters (but the name has not changed). Paddlefish opens on February 4th, and we look forward to previewing it on the 3rd (reservations open up on the 6th).
Our next stop is Disney's Hollywood Studios, and we take a walk around the park. Characters were out, and Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land construction is in effect. We rode Tower of Terror and show some of the new queue video in Toy Story Midway Mania.
We were invited to the LEGOLAND Florida NINJAGO opening. NINJAGO: The Ride is really a fantastic attraction, and unique in that riders only use their hands to defeat the villains.
We talk about Disneyland Paris 25th, which is just 2 months away. Hyperspace Mountain will not be open quite yet for the beginning of the celebration, but we look forward to the Disney Stars on Parade, new shows and the character costumes (we show the official Mickey and Minnie 25th costumes).
